Holomic Director of R&D, Dr. Onur Mudanyali will present and exhibit at the AACC Emerging Clinical & Laboratory Diagnostics: The Portable Lab conference. Holomic’s abstract was selected among several submissions for an oral presentation at the event. Dr. Mudanyali’s oral presentation will take place on Thursday, April 24, 11:55 am-12:10 pm, in the session titled “The Promise of Non- and Minimally Invasive Connected Devices,” which is being chaired by Dr. Lance Ladic of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics (Princeton, NJ).
Holomic’s first commercially launched product, the Smartphone based Holomic Rapid Diagnostic Reader (HRDR-200) will be showcased at the event. Holomic’s reader is an economical, handheld, quantitative reader for lateral flow immunoassay tests, featuring instant access to electronic health records, and real-time, wide-area diagnostic data collection via a secure CLOUD service. The reader is ideal for point-of-care, telemedicine, and public health monitoring, as well as lab and factory needs. The product is on the forefront of sensing technologies and applications for simplifying patient self-testing and reporting.
The Emerging Clinical & Laboratory Diagnostics conference is a successor to AACC’s long-standing Oak Ridge Conference, a premier venue for clinical diagnostics. Holomic will also exhibit at the 2014 AACC Annual Meeting in Chicago.
