A portable, cost-effective and sensitive environmental screening platform
Holomic’s novel technology allows the quantification of mercury ions in water samples with parts per billion (ppb) level of sensitivity in field settings. Utilizing a smartphone attachment that weighs less than 40 grams, this mobile tool is wirelessly integrated into cloud services, and useful for tracking and sharing real-time water contamination information. Using this wireless platform, a mercury contamination map has been generated by measuring water samples at over 50 locations in California (USA).
